Didn't score but a lot to like in that first inning.

First we made Greinke throw a ton of pitches. Second, Buxton got a single and stole a base on the next pitch. Thats what we want to see. Rosario hit into bad luck...a bullet that just wasn't in the right place. And Sano did not strike out on the 3-2 pitch and he didn't bite for pitches outside the zone.

All good. Cruz still isn't getting any kind of good wood on his swings...but he drew the walk. Also good.

We'll get some runs!

Sano's home to first was 28.9 FT/S...elite is 30. Can't say he didn't run hard

Who knew he could move that quick? That's a lot of beef to get moving.

All of those were good AB's from the Twins there. Rosie crushed that ball. Unlucky. We'll get lucky later in the game.

Frankly, I don’t even know how the ump got that call right unless it was just pure luck.

A lot of it is using your ears as well as your eyes.  With no fans in the stands, it's a lot easier to hear the ball in the glove vs the foot on the bag.

The replay clearly showed it was ridiculously close, like an inch or two.

When a run is in question, challenge every time.

you’re one of those gotta have the last word guys huh, I disagree, you can reply if you like, but you won’t change my mind

Sano is deceptively fast, much faster than several guys we consider speedy or at least average.

Sorry but when I read "deceptively fast" I just heard John Madden's voice in my head. Thanks for that.

But the replay clearly showed he was out. Your replay guy has to say "no." Why waste one, with zero chance of success?

I find that weird. Wonder if the replay guy couldn’t pick it up quickly enough but you’d think it’s their job to nix that challenge.
