Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Well played, big guys.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I remember as a kid, I had an imaginary friend. Finally, I came to realize it wasn't good for me to have such a friend, he was kind of mean. Like, for instance, he always teased me that at least he had a real friend.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 The only glimmer of hope I really see against the Yankees is the way Maeda and Pineda have pitched so far this year. If they can go 6 or 7 innings giving up <2 runs and May/Romo/Duffey closing the door then the Twins have a shot.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Polanco last 7 games: 2/21 .095/.240/.095Have any other good news?!

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Hopefully the whole last third of the Twins' lineup tonight is gone next yearIt's looking like it - all three's contracts are up, and I don't think re-signing them should be on the table. Avila is not a bad backup catcher, but it's pretty clear that Jeffers will be ready to back up Garver, if not step ahead of him.

howeda7 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Do you keep Avila on the play-off roster over Jeffers? I don't. Frankly if Garver doesn't hit in the next week, he should be the one left off.
