howeda7 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Please, please PLEASE tell me Garver didn't just get doubled up.I forgot who was on 1st and just assumed it was Eddie.
Longdistancetwins Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Yeah, the neighborhood was cool around Wrigley, but the park itself not so much. But the ivy is cool. Was at Wrigley late in 2016, their big year. But, being an American League fan, I was ignorant of Cubbie traditions, like the W flag and the “Go Cubs Go.” That stuff was charming. But I had to learn not to ask for sauerkraut for a hot dog. Only onions, apparently.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 a hunch?Rocco's not much of a hunch guy. And I doubt the computer supported it. But it worked out.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 StupidNah. It took a perfect throw to get him. Worth a try.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 BASE HITS WITH THE BASES LOADED!!!!http://www.snarksquad.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/inconceivable.gif
howeda7 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Buxton, please don't injure yourself trying to stretch a single in a 7-1 game. Thanks!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Five runs and two guys thrown out at second base. Weird inning.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 That answer to my previous question was 4
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I like the aggressiveness from Buxton
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Nah. It took a perfect throw to get him. Worth a try.for a faster runner, not for a catcher
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Five runs and two guys thrown out at second base. Weird inning. In my feverish dream, asking for an 8 spot, I ignored the part about the 2 guys thrown out.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Rocco's not much of a hunch guy. And I doubt the computer supported it. But it worked out.honestly, I think he needs to get Garver some meaningful ab’s ASAP
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 If the game were still close I'd have wanted Duffey out there again.
Channing1964 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 im sure we are gonna win this game......but this crazy baserunning has got to stop at some point. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Defense has been superb tonight
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 If the game were still close I'd have wanted Duffey out there again. Now, he probably be available tomorrow.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Why not just run and see what happens
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 At least for me, Wisler has kind of flown under the radar this season, but he's been extremely good.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I will second what Morneau has been saying about Sanó's defense. He hasn't let many balls get past him and he's fielded grounders well. The only problem he had, mostly early in the season, was chasing balls that should be fielded by the second baseman.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Twins pitching is not an oxymoron (not tonight anyways)

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Nelson Cruz putting on a glove. Man 2020 really has everything
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 So if Toronto wins the World Series I guess the parades in Buffalo?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Wisler-ing while he works.
