LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 To be fair, Cruz and Sanó didn't fare much better. They made contact, Cave swung at two curve balls that he missed by a yard
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 last hitter for Maeda, either way.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I'm sure this is Maeda's last inning. More guys are getting on. Also over 90 pitches.
Sielk Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 They made contact, Cave swung at two curve balls that he missed by a yardYeah, okay, so they did a bit better but neither of those sky-high pop ups was what I would call solid contact.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 last hitter for Maeda, either way. That's the good way.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Great outing for Maeda. Bring it home bullpen.
Diesel Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 What a night for Maeda. Outduelling the likely Cy Young winner is impressive
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Author Posted September 12, 2020 Fantastic outing by Maeda for not only matching Bieber, but flat out out-dueiling him. He didn't run into any trouble all night, other than the 7th inning, and kept hitters off balance.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I guess we'll have to live with 7 shutout IP from Maeda. A bit disappointing, but what are ya gonna do?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Good shot of the UMD Bulldog on the tail of that jet
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Great outing for Maeda. Bring it home bullpen.Home is where the batter is, right? Yeah, i agree. Bring it home. And don't let the other team bring anything home.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Good shot of the UMD Bulldog on the tail of that jetF-16
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 In general I like a 3-0 green light. Maybe not Marwin Gonzalez though.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Yeah, okay, so they did a bit better but neither of those sky-high pop ups was what I would call solid contact.never said solid, Cave swing at two pitches way out of the zone that’s all

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 JEFFERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I went to the VA this afternoon for a checkup, I have been feeling...off. Different. Odd.The doc ran a plethora of tests, and finally called me into his office. "I have some results," he said. "Your DNA, it's...backwards."I looked at him and replied with the first thing that came to mind."And?" I may have mentioned this before, but thanks for using the word “plethora” in this story. It means a lot.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Let’s give the Bieb his first loss
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 never said solid, Cave swing at two pitches way out of the zone that’s allSo... liquid contact vs. gaseous contact?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Insurance run(s) please?Jeffers: "challenge...accepted. "
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Watching the Twins and the Cardinals earlier in the week, I was impressed that the Cardinals seem to have the same classic uniforms every time I have seen them. Similarly, other "historic" teams such as the Red Sox and Yankees don't change uniforms every year, if ever. Why can't the Twins do that? You mean, like use Senators jerseys?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 So... liquid contact vs. gaseous contact?contactless is the trend these days
