So far so good, but I imagine he's going to run into K troubles eventually (pitchers making adjustments) and he'll have to overcome that. He had a pretty high K rate in AAA. That's not to say I don't believe in him, but it won't be easy.

Oh, he’ll definitely hit bumps in the road as pitchers adjust but he’s looking like a more polished hitter than I expected.

Well, the rule is never make the first or third out at third base. Eddie must have figured the second out wasn't a big deal.

And yet another baserunning blunder by Eddie. I just don't understand why he stopped. I mean, it looked like he was already two thirds of the way to to third. If you're aggressive, be really aggressive and run to the base at full speed...

It looked like Eddie was watching Rooker being sent home from third and he probably assumed that the ball went further than it did or they may try to throw out Rooker at home.

We are lucky. Maybe good too, but not getting my hopes up yet.

 

And before the 4th and a half inning no less.

 

And i wanted to compliment Rosario's fielding to his back hand, but i'm afraid that would end up being a backhanded compliment. Not sure i could find a more deserving fellow...

Does that mean the game is official?

Technically the game was official after the top of the 5th since the Tigers had five innings to hit and the Twins had the lead at the time.

It will never not drive me insane when professional baseball players don't give it their all when running the bases. Especially a rookie. Hopefully he learns from it!
