h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Thorpe.......... I just don't see the fascination.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Lewis Thorpe pitching himself off the playoff roster? I would say so. Who wants this guy facing the Yankees or Astros?

twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I'm enjoying this stress free game...Something tells me In another 5 days I'll be pacing the house and yelling at the top of my lungs.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Lynn strikes out Gregorius..... now pulled. 5 outs to go for the Yankees, with Jose Leclerc (yikes) dealing for Texas.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Seems like he does that every time he manages.I know! How is it possible that there isn't a "Fire Adrianza!" thread yet?!?!

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 where’s brusdar?Getting rested and ready for the playoffs.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Seems very much like Adrianza was given a list of pitchers he could use today.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Homerun by Schoop and then Brusdar to close the door
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Lynn strikes out Gregorius..... now pulled. 5 outs to go for the Yankees, with Jose Leclerc (yikes) dealing for Texas. Yankees down to 3 outs! Some subs in...... Ford, Frazier, Gardner due up in the top of the 9th at this point, with Stanton next, if it gets that far. Looks like they will be batting last in real time... unless we go to extra innings........ just what we need, eh? Extra innings......
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Seems very much like Adrianza was given a list of pitchers he could use today. If that’s the case, I’ll forgive Ehire, this spit show is on the FO. Time to clean house.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 When is a mistake pitch not a mistake? When Cron whifs at it.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I have no interest in extra innings. Who's left in the pen that's virtually guaranteed to give up a run?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I wonder what the asking price was for Kennedy? He'd look real solid in a Twins uniform right about now.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Kind of a fingernails hanging on to the ledge moment and lots of contract left. Yeah, and obviously he'll finish below that mark. With Ohtani back and his continued decline, it's hard to imagine he'll get another 545 PA each of the next two years like this season, but I do hope he stays healthy enough to continue racking up some stats. Specifically, I hope he gets the 41 HR he needs to pass ARod.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 If that’s the case, I’ll forgive Ehire, this spit show is on the FO. Time to clean house. Nah...... pulling guys like Sano in a one run game (now tied) with the HR record on the line? All on Ehire.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Graterol seems soooooo hitable. At least..... seems to get hit a ton with lots of contact.

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 They come to snuff the Brusdar . . .
Bomba2026 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 To get the Bomba championship I'd put in our A players....but we have it right now! Maybe Arianza will apply for the KC managers job...I hate to lose the last game with a fail from our bullpen again. This could stay in their minds, because it will stay in mine!
