Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 The guy actually throws more pitches than Odorizzi... Impressive!
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 The guy actually throws more pitches than Odorizzi...But of course, he'd be a far better solution than Perez...
bighat Verified Member Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Puig stands in the box and watches.....as the ball bounces off the wall, and he's held to a single! Could be a huge gaffe!
tvagle Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 they gotta challenge that don't they?
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 That hurt... Guy is ahead 0-2 and he throws a meatball...
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Welp. I guess the Phillies came back last night...
Blake Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Crud, no help from Philly so far.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Pitching match ups for CLV vs CHISOX next week would lead me to believe CLV will go 3-0 against them. Clevinger--SantiagoBieber--DetwilerCivale--Cease
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Crud, no help from Philly so far.Even if Cleveland wins out we just have to go 3-3 on this road trip. Against Detroit and KC. We can do it on our own. And, BTW, Cleveland finishes with a 3-gamer in Washington. No DH against a team with strong incentive to win. But even so, I'll be a happy man if Philly mounts a rally to win tonight.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Let’s go Phils!

I'm not concerned about our being able to take out the Central - split (or better) against two lowly teams shouldn't be a difficult task. I'm only watching Cleveland and hoping they miss out to TB/Oakland in the Wild Card (as I CANNOT STAND CLEVELAND).
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Meanwhile, we're hoping Mike Morin (of all people) can keep Philly in this game...
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 absolutely, but the sooner we clinch, the sooner we can start resting and setting up the “rotation” for the DS I think Rocco has rotated guys in and I'm not all that concerned with weariness... I'd rather stay sharp and hope to see guys like Kepler and Adrianza (and Gibson!) get healthy...

I'd rather stay sharp and hope to see guys like Kepler and Adrianza (and Gibson!) get healthy... on the position player side, yeah. Pitching wise, an extra day of rest for Odorizzi and Berrios would be good, and getting and for Rogers an extra day plus putting him, May, Duffy, and Romo back on their every other day routine.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Phooey on the Phillies -- 5-1 Cleveland after 7.
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 lol - It's over, courtesy of Mike Morin and Company (and Puig with the nail in the coffin).
