Game Thread - Twins v Nationals, 9/12 @ 6:40pm

[ScrapTheNickname]

Got an early morning tomorrow, so I'm going to have to miss out on the fantastic comeback by our guys. Good night and Go Twins!

If you dream of one you will wake up sad because it wasn't true.

[Aggies7]

Wow

[Pius Jefferson]

At least the Twins didn't pass on any good pitchers for Kohl Stewart.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

“juiced ball update” home run, right there

[Aggies7]

This feels like so many late season vikings collapses I’ve witnessed over the years.

[Mike Sixel]

How do we get the fourth run?

Lamarre HR obvs.

[operation mindcrime]

Kohl Stewart, that was $4,544,400 well spent!

[Mike Sixel]

I don't think the 40 man is all that crowded next year...

[Aggies7]

Justin surmises that the twins weren’t happy with a 3-0 swing in a 10-3 game LOLOLOLOL

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Lamarre HR obvs.

In that case, make it a 3-run shot

[jz7233]

Stewart should be released. Is this a Tigers game or a Twins game?

LA

How do we get the fourth run?

LaMarre with a sac fly in the 9th.

[LaBombo]

And suddenly I haz teh Bergman film sadz...

[Mike Sixel]

At least the Twins didn't pass on any good pitchers for Kohl Stewart.

And yet, every year, teams pass on signing guys that will cost then a draft pick.....

[Aggies7]

Holy moly Stewart is BA-rutal

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

I thought that final out was another long ball

[VATwinsFan]

I think that should be all we need to see of Stewart for the rest of the season.

[LaBombo]

Chargers, Packers and Bears to finish the 2019 season... could be a two-for-one this year.

[USAFChief]

Or have a fit over trading a minor leaguer for a major leaguer.

[Danchat]

Alright, so I definitely didn't expect Stewart to look this bad.

Are the Twins going to hit the next Nationals hitter with a pitch? The Nationals broke the sacred unwritten rule about swinging on a 3-0 count in a blowout...

[jz7233]

LA
LaMarre with a sac fly in the 9th.

I have more faith in Garver though.

Absolutely should not. 6th inning. Cave did his nonsense in the 9th of a 9 run game

[USAFChief]

The scouting report from LaMarre's 2 weeks of fame from spring 2018 was available to the Nats, apparently.

8 hopper to the right side.

[LaBombo]

Look at the bright side... he'd suck even worse if they used him as a starter again.

Stewart is still in lol I get that the game is over but why torture us

[Pius Jefferson]

Baldelli continues to manage these games like the twins have an 8 game lead. Not using Garver to pinch hit yesterday. Leaving a returning Gibson in too long tonight. Taking any chance of a comeback away by using Kohl Stewart.

[Aggies7]

Haha first pitch laser beam.

[jz7233]

Stewart probably played himself out of roster now. It was dumb to want to stay in the game.

Except it would be like the Vikings losing three in a row to the Dolphins, Giants and Bengals.

Arraez, Garver and Rosario, out of the game. More rest.
