I just wanted a baserunner to be able to watch how Clevinger's delivery differed. The foot-rocking is more subdued than in the full windup, but I still can't believe he doesn't balk at least a couple of times a game, doing it like that.

 

Next time he's in the stretch, I'm gonna watch closer to see if he comes to a stop before coming to the plate.  Bob Davidson would have a field day with him.

We kind of got spoiled that first month or two. Almost always there's someone scuffling in a big league lineup. Didn't we have everyone above .800 OPS at one point in May or June?

 

I'm not thrilled with those two, and playing time should be reduced, but it happens, and they'll work out of it almost surely.

Schoop since July 7th: 57 PAs, .208/.246 (.585 OPS)

Gonzalez since July 7th: 98 PAs, .207/.286 (.585 OPS)

Anyone else notice a few times where Bert and Dick said a few things that seemed to “show up” the other during the last series? I caught a few and thought “that’s an odd unnecessary thing to say”

I’ve sat up high at ballgames, it’s not that hard to judge about how far a ball will usually travel, Bremer is off on way too many and us watching on TV are at his mercy, it’s very annoying.

They’re horrendous, don’t bother. Not sure if TV or radio is worse. I think their radio guys are worse. Pure homers

I kind of felt a vibe from Dick that he preferred his old partner, and a vibe from Bert that he was self conscious about being in the booth with a better color guy (and pitcher?).
