snepp Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Do we have a position player that can throw? Chris Gimenez is available, no?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 So what was that about a homemade cheesecake for desert? I didn't think deserts ate...
mudcat14 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Sick of a bullpen where the majority are afraid to throw strikes!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 White Sox (4), marlins (3) and royals (3) after tomorrow. I have to think 7 wins is the minimum needed to retain first place. We’ve passed the point of being able to drop games to bad teams
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Now that the bullpen is taxed, does Staskak or Thorpe get sent down? You know, the two guys who are most responsible for the taxing.Fake an injury and get Littell back. Another guy who the front office wants to pose as a MLB reliever.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Sick of a bullpen where the majority are afraid to throw strikes! It seems like anytime they did throw a strike it was hammered. Pen is bad, but man the Yankees have a damn good lineup.
TribeAZ13 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 wonder if Sano realizes if he swings his chance of putting the ball in play go up significantly
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Could have clinched a season split with a win tonight.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 9th place hitter in the 9th: 0-2 count 2 outs. Twins hitters in the 9th: Bases loaded 0 outs only scored 1 run. Rough.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Yeah the Twins pen should be more like the Yankees pen.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 It seems like anytime they did throw a strike it was hammered. Pen is bad, but man the Yankees have a damn good lineup. Minus Giancarlo....
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 wonder if Sano realizes if he swings his chance of putting the ball in play go up significantlyI think he figured that out in his previous AB
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Unscheduled DH for Wednesday July 24th...or just another way for the Pohlads to double their money?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 it sounds insanse, but i wonder what u guys would give us for Hand.... seriously... he has 2 years of control still and is top 3-4 in baseball...i think indians can afford to drop him if kluber and salazar are anywhere close to themselves... Yes, it sounds completely insane. Why would Cleveland "drop" their all-star closer because two of their starting pitchers are getting healthy?!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Yeah the Twins pen should be more like the Yankees pen. You wouldn't trade the Yankee pen for the Twins pen???
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Fake an injury and get Littell back. Another guy who the front office wants to pose as a MLB reliever.I actually liked Littell.
snotboogie Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 This has been a too many beer game. For a number of reasons.
TribeAZ13 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I think he figured that out in his previous ABindeed, lol...indeed
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Stashak was our best reliever...It was his major league debut
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 It was 0-2 with 2 outs on tauchman in the 9th, I just read that post, I’d forgotten. Man.
PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Will limited mound visits be consequential?! That story at midnight!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I actually liked Littell. He’s been better than most of the others
snepp Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Will limited mound visits be consequential?! That story at midnight! Which time zone?
TribeAZ13 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Yes, it sounds completely insane. Why would Cleveland "drop" their all-star closer because two of their starting pitchers are getting healthy?!bc salazar is not a starter, first of all, second, we have so much depth pitching its silly... we are missing a 2 time cy young winner and a guy who has finished top 5 last three yrs in carassco.. now we have plesac and civale who are studs and only so much to go around...and twins would take Hand in a heartbeat if it presented itself....
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Great at bat for the real king, arraez
