Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I declare this a safe lead
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Rocco doing Perez a big disservice here. No reason he should have been left in this long.

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Great start! Just time to bring someone in.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 We just had a pretty scary earthquake here in Los Angeles. Are those aftershocks? Are you feeling them in LA?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Wow, when Perez loses it, he REALLY loses it.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 Wow, got a good long shaking here in CA. Long, slow, rolling earthquake.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 We just had a pretty scary earthquake here in Los Angeles.Probably just another after shock.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Is the audio going up and down for anyone else?Do you see the buttons with the up arrow and the down arrows? Don’t hit them.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 We just had a pretty scary earthquake here in Los Angeles.Yeah, I'm north of you in Bakersfield. Initial report I saw was 7.1 same place as the one yesterday.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Rocco doing Perez a big disservice here. No reason he should have been left in this long. With runners on 1st and 2nd the double play was still intact and given how many grounders Perez got tonight I don't think it was a terrible decision to leave him out there. Unfortunately the grounder was out of the reach of a infielder that time.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 Are those aftershocks? Are you feeling them in LA?Not an aftershock. New quake. According to my wife, it was predicted there is a 50% chance of more quakes after the first one.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 How could a 9-0 lead always feel so uncomfortable?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I was just about to say I was impressed with Harper this year. (Still am, but, timing...)
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Not much can come easy for this team as of late
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Holy moly getting close to a save situation here
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Can never have too many runs.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 This is why you don’t leave a starter in when he’s clearly out of gas.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I still really like what Harper has done most of this season. But stil...Grrrr. Perez doesn't deserve what this does to his numbers.
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Why our pitchers always can't get swing-and-miss? In this situation, pitcher needs to get a K. Under Wes Johnson, Jose Berrios becomes a contact pitcher.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Ridiculous it should never be that difficult
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Hey, it's still just a normal, 9 to 5 workday for the twins
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 That double play was a nice gift from an old friend (Santana), Perez is throwing very well and now we need insurance runs. With a 7-0 lead, this plea for insurance runs felt more tongue in cheek than serious.

Perez was great through 6, but the way he pitched in the 7th I think he deserved the 4 runs he's charged with.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Are those aftershocks? Are you feeling them in LA?It was a 7.1, but far east of L.A.

No. He is very lucky through 6. When many balls put in play and not a hit, that's very low BABIP. Don't tell anyone under .200 BABIP is pitching great.
