bighat Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 If Schoop had hit the fly ball Garver did this would be a 1-run game. Dang dude, can't strike out with the bases loaded and 1 out, just criminal.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Seems like Seattle's defense rubbed off on us
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 If you leave 11 on base and go 2-11 with RISP you don't deserve to win gamesMaybe, but deserve and should are different things.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Ughhh.lets just get this game over already
Darius Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Man, Schoop is awful lately at the plate. I usually think people way overrate the down-side of Ks.....except when it’s with the bases loaded less than 2 down.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Pitching has been bad, fielding has been bad, and offensive hasn't showed up. It's amazing we actually got 2 wins this series.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 The team is just not focused for the Royals. Are they gettng fat heads?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 AL central getting a little tighter
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 AL central getting a little tighter If the Twins keep playing like this and Indians keep playing like they are its not out of the question that it will get tighter

Well, 2/4 today with 2 ks. Ks have been brutal, though, with the pressure on.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Can we forfeit the rest of the game??
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 And now it's Morin's turn to get exposed. This team needs work.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 If the Twins keep playing like this and Indians keep playing like they are its not out of the question that it will get tighterOnly if we tank in head go head games.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 My poor, little heart can't take any more. Cook me a chicken breast if we win?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Baldelli seems to have the pitching plan for this game and is not going to adapt to what is happening.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Is there any chance at all that the Cuban guy we signed can contribute this year?
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Well, 2/4 today with 2 ks. Ks have been brutal, though, with the pressure on.One of those 2 Ks was ball four. He deserved better, as did Sano.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 well yuck... land in Philly to see this...
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Not getting any runs on 3 times with the bases loaded ..... how many with only 1 out? Can't remember. Don't care to look. The game could have turned big time ............ and had nothing to do with the pitching.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 One of those 2 Ks was ball four. He deserved better, as did Sano. I hate hate hate that umpires are still guessing the balls and strikes.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 This has been a frustrating game. Morin is not helping.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 All of this at home and against the Royals. That's not how you keep getting sellout crowds, Twins.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Morin could give up 10 runs, and all would be unearned. Then in the future, a sportswriter would say (and they would, just like the beginning of the season with Hildenberger) .... He has been great! His ERA is only 1.20!
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Baldelli seems to have the pitching plan for this game and is not going to adapt to what is happening. Everything he does seems pre-determined; hence how May somehow gets a save opportunity. He has been lucky the players have bailed him out for the most part.
