That's a situation where I'd have liked to have seen Rogers come in.

 

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the Twins bullpen isn't doing so great lately.

Don't understand why Baldelli didn't walk Vogelbach. I mean really, he was 6/11 in this series coming to the plate, and you have a base open, and only need one out.

Really miss having left handed options in the ‘pen.

Now it’s a battle of the (bad) bullpens.

The Twins bullpen has only been bad lately. I'm sure they'll get back to mediocre in short order.

Well, it was 3rd base open. I don't walk him intentionally either, but I tell Harper nothing he can pull, and if you walk him, you walk him. Got lucky it was only a single.

 

I have trouble believing we're in June and the Twins best bullpen option to pitch to a lefty with a 1 run lead is a 30 yr old junkballing rookie RHer. But he probably was the best person for the job.

I was wondering if a semi-intentional walk might be in order.
