h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 would have walked him. Baldelli not so smart there. Seemed totally clear to me.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Two pitches, another inherited runner scored for Harper, and with two outs. Sigh.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Polanco and CROM!!!!!!!!
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 That's a situation where I'd have liked to have seen Rogers come in. Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the Twins bullpen isn't doing so great lately.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Really miss having left handed options in the ‘pen. Now it’s a battle of the (bad) bullpens.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Don't understand why Baldelli didn't walk Vogelbach. I mean really, he was 6/11 in this series coming to the plate, and you have a base open, and only need one out.

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Nice ... Got into their bullpen too
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Big Mike deserved the win and the bullpen failed him, but then again the bullpen has failed us for weeks now.

I mean really, he was 6/11 in this series coming to the plate, and you have a base open, and only need one out.Well, it was 3rd base open. I don't walk him intentionally either, but I tell Harper nothing he can pull, and if you walk him, you walk him. Got lucky it was only a single. I have trouble believing we're in June and the Twins best bullpen option to pitch to a lefty with a 1 run lead is a 30 yr old junkballing rookie RHer. But he probably was the best person for the job.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Hit n run for a bremergasm. Coupled with the bunt single, Dick owes Ehire a couple hundred, plus tip.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 That's a perfect hit and run. Great play
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Man on third and nobody out, here's where we excel!!
