Game Thread 5/4/19 Twins @ Yankees 12:05 PM CDT

[Halsey Hall]

Tack tack tack 'em on, all the way til the end.

[snotboogie]

I was busy early in the day and didn't turn on the game until the 6th.  Yanks scored a run to make it 5-1.  I had to turn it off. I was thinking to myself that we would find a way to blow it.  Forgive me, but I am weak.  I did manage to turn it back on for the ninth.  Happy. Happy Happy.  Chicken on the grill tonight.

Twins win!!!!

Put all of that "scared of the Yankees" nonsense to rest!!!

Have a fun, and safe, Saturday, y'all!

All right! Now let's see if Pineda can bring his best self against his former team tomorrow. I'd love to see us get out of the Bronx with a series win.

[70charger]

Winner winner. Gonna see if I can make it out to the game tomorrow to see a series win!

Listening to the post game on the radio.Sounds like the boys are whooping it up in the clubhouse. As well they should.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The curse is over!

I can no longer b*tch about that damn thing, and couldn’t be happier

[stringer bell]

I wondered about sending Rogers out for the ninth (perhaps May), but with a pretty short appearance and the likelihood that he wouldn't face any of those batters tomorrow, it looks like a good move.

[stringer bell]

I'll say the curse is over if the Twins win the season series from the Yankees. New York comes to Minnesota in July, so the team they play then will be different from this group.

[USAFChief]

Cruz knew it when it was still touching the bat.

so did the pitcher.

Curse is over when we beat them in a playoff series.

[Don Walcott]

There's no such thing as a curse.

[Craig Arko]

There's no such thing as a curse.

There are plenty of them uttered.

[Don Walcott]

There are plenty of them uttered.

****, I forgot about that.

[wabene]

Here we go again...

ironic

[AlwaysinModeration]

yeah, but it's a rent-controlled apartment.

Also climate controlled.
