Game Thread 5/4/19 Twins @ Yankees 12:05 PM CDT

[stringer bell]

Bounceback test. The Twins played a lousy game at “The Stadium” last night. Their past poor games have been answered by good games, with no indication of a skid. They face another lefty (Happ) today and Jake Odorizzi will answer the bell for the Twins.

[denarded]

Like the lineup...Intrigued with the batting order.

[Don Walcott]

I'm hoping Eddie bounces back today! This lineup is so much more dangerous when he's raking.

[drock2190]

Garver is letting too many hittable balls go past him without taking a swing. Noticed this is becoming a common theme for him.

[Mill1634]

Gotta put hitters away JO

[Mill1634]

I'd like to see Eddie in motion

[Mill1634]

Fantastic play by Schoop

PS: WHERE IS EVERYONE!!!!

I feel like I'm talking to myself

Here!!

[Don Walcott]

Dull game so far. We need some action here.

[BoofBonser]

Not to be a pessimist here, but pop-outs are almost more frustrating than strikeouts

Guys are trying too hard to hit bombs right now

[Don Walcott]

Swing the bat here Garver.

[Don Walcott]

Yes!

[Mill1634]

GARVER GONE!!!!!!

[diehardtwinsfan]

nice to pop in and see a lead... 2 runs isn't enough though.

[Don Walcott]

Looks out to me.

[Mill1634]

Seems like one of the first times we have challenged all year

[cardsfan]

He was out. Just touching cloth counts?

[Don Walcott]

Nice shut down inning.

[Mill1634]

Marwin is starting to hit the ball hard. Good to see

[Don Walcott]

Now it’d be nice to see Kepler avoid popping out.

[Don Walcott]

Schoop!!

[Don Walcott]

No way.

[Mill1634]

WOW - fantastic catch by Mabin

[Don Walcott]

Jake seems to have caught the nibble virus.

Jake seems to have caught the nibble virus.

Agree. Get aggressive. Sitting on our heels hoping everything is perfect is why we continue losing here

[diehardtwinsfan]

Not sure Jake will make it 5... want to be wrong there.

[MNT1996]

Atta boy Jake

[Mill1634]

Fantastic pitch. Jake doesn't have his best stuff, but he's been good enough so far. Get through the fifth, and turn it over to the well rested pen

[operation mindcrime]

WOW - fantastic catch by Mabin
