Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 And Berrios shows why he should be considered an ace, because the staff ace should be able to get out of a bases loaded jam like he just did.
Respy Provisional Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Really glad Berrios had the comfort of a lead to work through that jam while his pitch count was still below 90. Closer game and that becomes a tougher call for Rocco.

If you're the ace, you gotta get out of your own jams. We're gonna have to start calling him "No-Way Jose"
Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Okay, Cron, get the run back!Come on, Marwin, get that run back!Let's go, Schoop, get that run back!Drat.

Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 If I'm the celestially chosen lucky charm for this season we're screwedReminds me of the guy who hung up "K's" in the dome when Viola was pitching. Dome officials tried to get him to stop, but he argued, and I bet Viola had something to do with it, that Frankie did better when he was there to put up "K"s. Needless to say, the practice continued.

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Had to go back to work, so now I'm following on Gamecast. Is it accurate that Harper struck out Bregman on a 69.7 MPH curveball right down the middle of the strike zone? If so, that might be my favorite play of the game.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 When it's cold out he wears the gloves 50 degrees and a Canadian thinks it's cold and needs gloves? What a p..........

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 So do we keep piling on? Or is there some unwritten rule about ending get away games as early as possible? Wish Mollie or Dozier were around to inform us . . . .
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 6-1 score and orange uniforms. I thought the Twins were done with the Orioles this year. Keep putting them on the schedule! We've done pretty well against Orioles and Peacocks, but we need to work on the Blue Jays!
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 So, Eddie is 0 for his last 20 or so. Might want to think about giving him Friday off. That would be hurtful to the lineup with the Yankees throwing a LHP since the most logical fill in is Cave. But Rosario isn’t hitting anything right now. He isn’t striking out a ton (indeed, just one during this hitless stretch) so he’s probably more unlucky than overmatched. But just a day to clear his mind and hit the reset button I think would be helpful.
