Let's get this one, Gibby needs to get aggressive.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

As above poster said, no Cruz tonight.

Not sure why guys like Cruz, Kepler, Cron already need days off, but whatevs

[Mike Sixel]

Will Garver play first this year? He's probably better there on D than at catcher.....

And, Brock is right, one of the two teams will win. Though if no one is there to see it, did it happen?

[bighat]

Gibby has not been anything close to what the Twins expected this year. Tonight's the night he has to turn it around, no more excuses.

[bighat]

What the heck ya doin', Max?

Watch Eddie go yard here.

[operation mindcrime]

What horrible baserunning!!!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Scores around the league:

Philly 10, Mets 0, after one inning.

Nailed it!

File under: could be worse!

Like it or not, I bet it takes him a while to get that stamina back. E coli is no joke.

We should've traded him before the deadline last year! Right after that gem against the Red Sox!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Provus just reminded listeners that Odorizzi pitches tomorrow night.

Not sure how I should feel about that...

That's about how many thousands more people come to their games this year vs last....around 10000 more! I wonder if other teams will follow their lead and spend big on stars (I doubt it, btw).

Happy that we will have baseball, and the world is not projected to end, I guess.

I have tickets and I'm hoping for rain...YMMV

A solid game thread comment, as it is both joking and not-joking, true and not true, at same time!

You should feel nauseous with Stinkorizzi on the mound!

Philly 10 runs on five hits. That's not something you see very often.*

*Unless you give up a HBP and two BB and make four errors.

Is that better or worse than giving up 6 runs on 2 hits?

Are we still calling him eggs Odorizzi?

I'm still trying to figure out my reaction to this post.....

[bighat]

Say what you will about Gonzalez, dude's got a very solid beard.

Not sure if this helps, but, it wasn’t meant for deep analysis.

Feels like 4-5 innings.

With as much prep that went into this thread so far, I think that qualifies as pretty deep analysis!
