Game Thread: Twins @ Mets 4:10 PM PT (6:10 PM CT) 4/9/2019

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Bullpen quiet, per radio guys

[jokin]

Tyler Austin could have pitched this well.

Great minds....

[DocBauer]

Not being mean but, this is just stupid.

[USAFChief]

Yeesh...dejong is de junk.

[Dman]

34 pitches and no outs.  That is not a guy you want on your team.

[jokin]

Probably a veteran like Duffey, to see if there's any thing left.

I think we already know the answer to that one.

[bighat]

Anyone else feeling unsettled?

[DiscGolfer]

I left the bar thinking that this game was well in hand, didn't think i'd have to worry about a 6 run lead

[wavedog]

Rogersjust starting to warmup - what are they thinking

[DocBauer]

Where’s Giminez when you need him??

Was thinking the same thing!

Can Cruz pitch? I mean...at all?

[glunn]

Rogers now warming up, then De Jong gets his first out.

[wavedog]

Well, guess that talk was effective

[DocBauer]

Anyone else feeling unsettled?

Nope. Just pissed and disappointed and waiting for the Chicken Dinner pics!

[Don Walcott]

What happened to the 35-pitch rule?

[DiscGolfer]

3 runs per out, I don't like that ratio

[glunn]

I feel bad for De Jong. Not good for his confidence or career.

[jokin]

Was thinking the same thing!

Can Cruz pitch? I mean...at all?

"At all" would be an infinite improvement over this.

[The Mask of Zoilo]

De Jongs ERA just went from infinity to 81.00.

[bighat]

Austin 1-for-2 with an rbi in san Fran tonight so far.

[glunn]

That could have been a double play.

[Intramural Legend]

3 runs per out, I don't like that ratio

As long as we keep it to that, the 10 run lead should hold up

[jokin]

I feel bad for De Jong. Not good for his confidence or career.

If you can't pitch clean/mop up, coming in with an 8 run lead, I'd say your career is in jeopardy.

[DocBauer]

T-Ball anyone?

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

What happened to the 35-pitch rule?

Well if it’s his final appearance ...

[operation mindcrime]

Wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

[Blake]

though, I'm not enthralled with De Jong.

[DocBauer]

I feel bad for De Jong. Not good for his confidence or career.

I also feel bad for him.

But at this point, it's on him.

[USAFChief]

3 runs per out, I don't like that ratio

That's a 3.00 ERA, right?

[USAFChief]

Winnah.

DeJong sorta took the enthusiasm out of that.

[mrtwinsfan]

See ya Chase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
