1 homer in five games for the Twins. The power just turned off from ST. And it ain't just the chilly weather. Good win considering the sketchy fielding. 

 

One early game and Gibson has regressed? I don't think so.

 

Yeah that wasn't Gibson's fault. Arianza was just a little lacks with his fielding.  If you're only going to play once or twice a week you better be ready to go. No excuse for that.

For to keep Chief happy, our magic number for the division is 156. And that is for every other team in our division, as they each have lost thrice... Let me know if ineed to show my work.

And as I'm sure has already been mentioned here, our pudgy little all-purpose spark plug has the highest average in baseball history for his first 100 plate appearances, pushing Ty Cobb to second. I'm gasterflabbed!

And one of the hits was in fact a double, evening out the bases and outs at 4 apiece (outs broken out into double double plays, hits broken out into a single double and double singles)

Really wasn't much to the trip other than the 2 games. Was last minute, as I decided last week to do it. Drove down Tuesday morning and came back after the Wednesday game. Squeezed in the Negro League Museum and ate at Arthur Bryant's since it was a few blocks away before the game yesterday. Royals staff and fans were very kind. Only heckling over the 2 games was the reversed call on the ball down the 3B line Tuesday night. And that was all misdirected at the 3B ump. Tuesday I had quite a few Twins fans around me. Wednesday not so much but a few. Love the stadium. If you ever go stay at the Sheridan across the street.
