Did we trade Robbie Grossman to Texas? That looked like him in left field on that double by Mauer.

[mickeymental]

that sac bunt musta been exciting!

[slash129]

Strike one on Molitor for having Polanco bunt. SMH.

That's strike one for this game.

Strike one on Molitor for having Polanco bunt. SMH.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Polanco did that on his own trying to get a hit.

[yarnivek1972]

So, according to Bremer, Rosario is out for this series and next. I’d say it is a foregone conclusion that Buxton will be up tomorrow.

[Platoon]

Well if Polanco did that again, this would be a good time to put him back on the bench, so he doesn't do it anymore The last time the Twins bunted a double over to third with no outs in the fourth I thought there is absolutely no way anyone would ever be dumb enough to sac bunt in the fourth inning! And I was right! .

[mickeymental]

to bunt or not to bunt ...

[Nine of twelve]

Good move (or lack thereof) by Cave to wear that pitch.

[mickeymental]

shoulda bunted.

[Platoon]

to bunt or not to bunt ...

.........that's is not the question.

[slash129]

Great news. The first September call-ups will be Gimenez and Belisle. Inspiring.

[slash129]

Good swings ... Gotta hit 'em where they ain't though

Its important for the the am to see what young prospects can do during this last month of the season. Belisle and Giminez are important cogs for the future.

Those two are like the Falvey and Levine of clubhouse leadership

[jimmer]

wait.  Did we sac bunt again after a double and no outs

[wavedog]

Grossman is the Rodney of outfielders - brings excitement to every fly ball hit to him. Not quite sure if he will catch it or not.

[yarnivek1972]

Everyone in the stadium, including Beltre, thought that was strike three.

[wavedog]

Would be nice if the umpire called a strike - a couple in the zone were not called that at-bat

[wavedog]

That must have been a good mound visit - throw it up high and let him wallop it.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Even the ump thought it was strike three

[mrmpls]

Gonsalves, ???? what do he do well ?? for the twins

[mrmpls]

Even the ump thought it was strike three

2  of them that a.b.

Even Beltre seemed surprised it wasn’t called.

But I suspect that was a 3rd MLB game vs 20 year vet call.

Has my dish been hacked? Directv switched from the Twins game to Dirty Dancing.

I've noticed that when umps call more balls on the borderline pitches, these games last longer...
