Anyone see Cave hitting well and playing great defense when he was acquired before the season started? 8 HR and quality overall play and he was originally a "meh" who needs another LH hitting OF?

Being down here in Texas I don’t get to see the Twins play much and that certainly appears to be a blessing this year. At some point you question why the heck am I watching this crap. And another error.

I'm a masochist - going to the game tomorrow and working on negotiating strategy to go to Sunday's game as well. (I already mentioned it and didn't get any "your out of your mind" comments. Maybe that just doesn't need to be said anymore.)

Not saying hes always been awesome, and hasn't had a bad stretch or two, but hes been decent to solid since day one. (Like others, been over used at times). But I think we've seen a real maturation with Roger's this season.

 

There is work to be done, to be sure, but I'm feeling so good about him and May and Hildenberger as a quality 3 to build on

You're right. I take full responsibility on that one. Somehow, coming in late and praising him, Garver had to fall asleep on a pitch.

 

Maybe I just shouldn't watch, or comment, when they are doing well, lol.
