NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I wish Sano would've played the full season with the Twins, because it would have been really cool to see how spectacularly he could have shattered the strikeout record.
adorduan Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I thought the front office said their was no timeline for Sano to comeback, that he would ONLY be brought back when he was ready. His minor league numbers were nothing special and now he has 5 K's in 7 AB. Sure looks like that was just BS from the the FO.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Pitchers’ reluctance to throw strikes to Robbie Grossman never fails to mystify me.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 After the game, Dozier to the Red Sox?new twins infield: polanco to second, sano to short, rosario to third.
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Dick babbling about Swihart leaving the game, never mentioned the possibility that someone had traded for him.

Mauerpower Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 This umpire has been extremely inconsistent, but Berrios shouldn’t let that rattle him.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 new twins infield: polanco to second, sano to short, rosario to third. I was thinking Polanco 2, Adrianza SS, leave Sano at 3 for the rest of this season to find out if you gotta go get a 1b or a 3b... It would be good to see Rosario get some infield time again, 2B and 3B
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 That's 3 really good innings from Mejia. The pitching has done a decent job... too bad the bats haven't showed up.

Relatively young, controllable. Position flexibility. But he’s also a guy I’d think a contender would be extremely hesitant to trade away.

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 So how many years will THIS rebuild take? Is this a new rebuild or a continuation of the one that began in 2012?
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 On the bright side, it was a beautiful afternoon for a baseball game, and Fenway Park is as amazing as advertised.
