wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 corresponding roster move when Dozier got traded. So the new extreme of the shift has been set. Dozier has shifted so far on an opponent that he's on a different field. Got it.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 basting in tequila would be one expensive bath.trust me on this...it's not so much the cost in dollars, it's the price you pay the next morning.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 I do not understand Taylor Motter, he of the career .575 OPS, playing over Jake Cave. It makes no sense for a contending team, it makes no sense for a non-contending team. If Molitor is going to use Motter for anything more than a late-inning laugher mop-up guy, than Falvine needs to DFA him now.

The opposing starter, Borucky, is LH'd. Also, don't be discouraged by Motter's .000/.118/.000 batting line. That .118 OPS is a full .440 below his career numbers!
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 wait, is it possible to be a Texas Canadien? That only works if you're from Montreal and play hockey.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 It is difficult to figure out the plan in MN, with Motter and Belisle playing.......

Tecmo Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Seriously just want Molitar gone at this point. Either try to win or give the youngsters playing time. Starting Wilson and Motter does neither.

Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Motter? I thought we were done with this guy? What does he bring to the table?

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Author Posted July 24, 2018 Motter? I thought we were done with this guy? What does he bring to the table? It's only the beginning of Motter once Dozier and/or Escobar is traded by next week.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 It's only the beginning of Motter once Dozier and/or Escobar is traded by next week. They shouldn’t be traded. Like Rocket said the return will be pathetic.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Game thread in fine form tonight. and then... the game started.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Giving Motter one last game before he is DFA'd for Erv?

I don't care anymore either way. Both are likely moving onto greener pastures this winter, so if it makes some feel better to get something for them, go for it.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Author Posted July 24, 2018 Giving Motter one last game before he is DFA'd for Erv?Berardino says Slegers may get moved to the 60 day DL to make room for Erv.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Author Posted July 24, 2018 or what we also call Kicking the Can down the road Yep. Why see what he has to offer now when you can 60 day DL him and have the same scenario in 2019?
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Yep. Why see what he has to offer now when you can 60 day DL him and have the same scenario in 2019???? Not sure you can see what he has to offer now if he's headed to the 60 day. Means he won't be better anytime soon.
