LaMonte Wade's had a very good season and has hit well at both AA and AAA. The dude's nearly at .400 OBP at AAA this season in 201 PAs - he's ready to be promoted. He's a better version of Grossman.

LaMonte Wade's had a very good season and has hit well at both AA and AAA. The dude's nearly at .400 OBP at AAA this season in 201 PAs - he's ready to be promoted. He's a better version of Grossman.

Not sure how that AAA .373 OBP will be at the MLB level with a BA in the .230s. Pitching is just a weeeee bit better in the majors than AAA.  Less likely for him to get so many walks and maintain an OBP that high with such a poor BA :-)

 

Still just a 4th OF type at best.  But sure, let's do it.  Cause Grossman is Gross, man.
