I swear FSN's key to the game every single game is

Need a quality start.

No crap.

It's like saying a key to a better chance at winning in football is throwing for more yards or making more threes in a basketball game.

Wish they were a little more in depth.

Or score more runs

For the life of me, I don't understand why anyone throws Dozier a fastball.  I don't care how cold he is, that's the only thing he'll hit out.

DOZIER!!! RAISE THAT VALUE! WOO

Obviously the runner wasn't in scoring position....but who cares!!!  He's up to 15HRs and .229 BA, trade him tonight if possible...don't try to squeeze out more

Think about this last complete inning...we are literally (management) giving the Royals free runs and possibly the game...they pee down their legs..now we hit a few bombs.

Wow, that is really deflating.  Things is, Twins have been there plenty of times as well in the past.

Esco the only guy in the lineup without a hit, gotta be a first

Right now it feels like we should stand pat and not trade, what if this team just goes crazy and wins like 14 of 18 or something, could change the picture

Moustakas, Perez, Butera and Gordon will be out in Uncle Rico's van after the game arguing with him about which year was better, '15 or '82.

Morrison's a home run hitter, Mauer's not. It boils down to that, plus opportunity. Going into today's game...

With no one on base, Mauer's come up 160 times, Morrison 179. Mauer went yard once, LoMo 6 times.

With a man only on first, Mauer has had 45 chances, doubled twice, and driven in nobody. Morrison has had 42 chances, doubled once and homered twice, and that one double seems to have plated his guy, for a total of 5 ribs.

With all other situations, i.e. at least a runner on second, Joe's gotten 51 chances, hit 3 doubles and a homer, driving in 22. Logan's had 74 chances, hit 3 doubles and 2 homers, and driven in 19.

Mauer was on the DL for a while, accounting partly for the difference in PA. He's actually done better, with the fewer RISP chances he's had. No question that Morrison will beat him on solo shots.

Blah blah blah.

Mauer came to the plate with one out, runner on third, down one. Infield back.

Takes strike one, and strike two, and walks back to the dugout with the team still down one.

That’s just bad baseball, and it happens way too much.

No matter how folks try to ignore it, defend it, or rationalize it.

You're basing that off Royals and Orioles victories (and this one ain't over yet).

Hang on....

Cleveland appears mortal again...

The Twins are playing better baseball (albeit against bad teams)...

The Twins and Indians play 10 more times & the Twins have played 2 fewer games...

Anyone still say there's a chance???

Throw the ***ing ball over the ****ing plate.

"The last time I did that, the guy hit a ball that hasn't landed yet."
