That throw was damn near perfect and it was basically bang/bang. Off by just a little and he's safe.

I missed that throw, I'll have to go back and take a look.

Oh, and that's our 14th runner out at home this season, right? Blech.

Or, Grossman unhooks the plow, he's safe.

Either way.

Yeah, but there is no fault on the Twins for that. That was just one amazing throw. No blecht about it from me, even though we were out.

Lol ... I like how there was a pause in the posting there until Rodney finished it out.

I want to experience the Experience.

I've never really hated the Red Sox.  I remember the Twins consistently beating the snot out of them in the 60s.

Except for that unpleasant weekend at the end of the '67 season of course.

I gre up about half-way between Boston and New York. I didn't hate the Red Sox or their fans, but Yankee fans were just obnoxious. It helped that Red Sox fans could be reigned in by mentioning 1918 - very convenient for a Vikings fan.

That was either the greatest throw of all time of grossman is slower than my dead grandmother

It had to be the throw. He had at least half a step on your grandmother.

Yup.

Even better stickin' it to Sale

I think Sale did more than good enough against us.  It's their bullpen that blew the game.

Nice.

But yes, getting a win in a game where Sale started is awesome!

Just checked - pick your stat, but Rosario and Escobar are 7 and 8 in OPS in the AL, 930+

5 and 6 are Judge and Machado.

Rarified air.

So, Escobar's going to command a deal in FA just a bit smaller than Machado's?

I always like the clutch hitters. That's why I have always been a fan of Escobar upon his arrival. I don't care how low a hitter's batting average is. As long as he can deliver in clutch situation, he has a chance to be a special hitter. Escobar is just that kind of player. Dozier is quite opposite. Adrianza might be better than Dozier in clutch situation.

Nope I doubt it. I think 3 years 30-36 millions should be enough.

A few years ago I was probably the only one who preferred Escobar over Florimon or Adrianza or Polanco. I just like his clutchness and passion for the game. He has always been a special player. He is a player that a winning team loves to have.

Holy Smokes. Years ago, I looked at Escobar and I thought to myself, this guy is built strong. He has had moments of brilliance in the last 4 years, but the last year this guy has figured it out and is going gang busters. What a joy to watch when so many painted him as a fringe MLBer. When everyone on the offensive side has let us down, the Ed's brought their A-Game. Keep it up fellas!!!
