Is Mcgill ever gonna pitch ???

Not until the arms of Pressly, Reed and Hildy fall off and even then I assume that Molitor will have them pitch with their other arm.

Following on gamecast, was the play to close to overturn or what?

I personally think it was pretty clear that he was safe, but I can see why they didn't overturn it.

He was almost but not quite safe enough for the call to be overturned.

How deflating that has to be. You pitch well and do what you're asked to to in games and yet you still can't get on the mound for over a week and counting. That's ridiculous.

Agreed. Still, I'd guess Busenitz would trade places with him.

Same goes for him. That has to be deflating. He's at least playing though, but he should be up with the big club.

 

Unfortunately, that also means that he'd be sitting idle in the bullpen too.

Rogers keeps adjusting his belt; I think he's right to worry about his pants falling down too. I swear, somehow he looks thinner after every appearance.
