Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Wow, even all-stars **** up every now and then.I never knew until recently that the web site censored posters automatically. That was fun to type.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Holy cow, once Cleveland's bullpen got involved, they're just falling apart. Why aren't we ripping them for not trading for relievers?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 16, 2018 Author Posted June 16, 2018 I never knew until recently that the web site censored posters automatically. That was fun to type. Yeah, but the censor is easy to defeat. Just put spaces between the letters. m e s s up See?

howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 *Kulber. He's a nobody, didn't you read the intro??No. Kulber sounds like a soft-tossing lefty who would be no-hitting us right now.

howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Is Duensing available?Duensing is very solid for the Cubs.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 No. Kulber sounds like a soft-tossing lefty who would be no-hitting us right now. Pretty sure you spelt Wade LeBlanc wrong
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Duensing is very solid for the Cubs. He is. He is/was always involved in trade discussions involving relievers on this board for many a years.

Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Turned Gameday on about 4th inning. First thing I saw was a 1 in Minnesota's first, and a bunch of zeros. I couldn't believe it was happening again. And the Gameday quickly refreshed, and it was suddenly 4-0. Maybe it was a wormhole in the space-time continuum, some sort of cosmic anomaly. Perhaps Dr. Strange was involved. At any rate, beating Kluber and the Indians would just be cruel. A spoonful of frosting for a starving man.

Only to get swept by Texas at home and swept by the White Sox on the road. This is how we baseball
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Also, I was reading the game log of plays, and got totally confused. Finally I figured it out. Dozier wasn't the leadoff hitter. A rabbit just flew into my window, and my corn on the cob tasted like marshmallows. Roasted marshmallows. Perfectly roasted, golden-brown marshmallows; a slight crunchy crispiness on the outside, and airy sweetness inside.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Which means you can make basically any claim and nobody can dispute it.Providing, of course, math is involved.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Nothing I love more than starters who go 7 innings. Except starters who go 8 and 9 innings...
Blake Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 I want Gibson to go Jack Morris in the Seventh Game of the Series on Molitor. No way, if I were Gibson, I'd want the bullpen to take over.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Gibby should be good for 2 more innings, no? I prefer no ARE or RPE right now.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 16, 2018 Author Posted June 16, 2018 Kyle Gibson has been spectacularly above average this year.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 16, 2018 Author Posted June 16, 2018 This young couple moved in next to us a couple months ago and they're so cute. Newlyweds! Every morning he kisses her goodbye at the front door, and every evening, he brings home flowers. This morning Mrs Chief and I happened to be outside when he left, and we watched as he gave her a passionate kiss goodbye. "Boy," she said to me, "I sure wish you would do that." I looked at her and said "OK, but do you think she'll go for it?"

snotboogie Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Long ago when my children were in pre-school, they would bring home a large paper cut out of a person called Flat Stanley. They would bring Flat Stanley home, and take him along on family activities and then go back to pre-school with the stories of what Flat Stanley did when he was with us. I hadn't thought about Flat Stanley for decades until I started watching Our Fair Team on the teevee and seeing Gibby walk off the mound. He is flat. This has nothing to do with his pitching or his effectivenes He is flat. That is all.
