Let's remember that there was a point where Herrmann and [Eric] Fryer were raking in a small sample size too. I doubt he'll sustain that through a full season.

I thought MLB was coming down hard on rule-breakers regarding shoe color. Buck is wearing white spikes tonight.

They are coming down hard, but not as hard as Buxton comes down after crashing into the fence

Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., Juan Soto, the 18-1/2-year-old that the Nationals just called up, hit a 3-run homer on the first pitch he saw in his first game as a starter.

Re the discussion on Killebrew striking out, he struck out 100 times or more 7 times but only twice did he strike out over 130 times (135 and 142).  He also had 100 or more BBs 7 times.
