Happy Mother's Day and welcome to another Twins Daily Game Thread experience!  I apologize for posting this early but it's fishing opener weekend in Minnesota and I need to head back out onto the lake

Do NOT compare Krispy Kreme donuts to my photo ... they aren't even close. That's a picture from my home town bakery. Krispy Kreme came to town, opened a store, and closed it within a couple of months

No matter the outcome, darn it, this is the way baseball should be. Tight game, 1-0, late in the game.

Not sure about Rogers here, no need to push the envelope with a 2nd inning of work for him.

Does Kepler's swing look weird to anyone else? It's like he's watching Morrison with that slice-style swing, not something Max usually does.

By the way, when Mrs Chief and I were at the club last night, watching the Hispanic comedian/magician, he did something I though was really cool. There was a table right behind us, with four visiting tourists, that had partially obstructed seats. There was an Englishman, a French lady, a Spaniard and his German girlfriend.

The guy on stage took the time to talk to them, and ask if they could see the show.

"Yes."

"Oui"

"Si"

"Ja"
