Sorry that isn't correct, the ground has nothing to do with it. It's the relation of the ball to the line. The rule book says fair territory is from the baselines perpendicular upwards. Any part of the ball that breaks that plane it is fair.

Um, yeah....which is pretty much what I said.  If the ball is touching the line, it would be breaking that plane.  If there's brown dirt between the ball and the line, then it's not breaking the plane.  Not quite sure where the misunderstanding is.

Watching the replay.

Kepler for some strange reason broke toward the plate and didn't get back to tag.

Brian Dozier was quoted as saying: "I could’ve said something but they have tremendous veteran leadership over there".

The Orioles will talk to Kepler about it when they come to town.

Yep, saw the same thing. Dunno why Kepler broke for home there.

So I get home and turn on the tv, and not only does L.L. Bomb immediately give up a 2nd deck homer to Russ Martin, but a Twins fan biffs the catch and a guy and gal in Russ Martin shersies celebrate coming up with the rebound, including a mock throw of the ball back onto the field.

The Twins are so bad right now that they're affecting the performance of the fans.

There are more dropped balls in the stands at Target Field than the stands at any other stadium.

I've been doing research on it.

Minnesota Hands are often used as models for sculptors.

One of the only positives for the Twins during this young season:

Escobar.

I don't understand why lots of people are still screaming for Polanco to come back. I believe Escobar has more than earned the starting SS job. Polanco can now become a utility guy. Adrianza should be let go when Polanco comes back. I don't think we miss Polanco at all if Sano is healthy. Polanco is not a good fielder either.

A Twins catcher?

That’s what I love about Mauer. He has a bull**** strike called on him and then takes the identical pitch to left field.

Actually two BS strikes.
