It was supposed to be the best BBQ in Iowa. That may be so but I now realize it was a very low bar to clear.

At this point, I would genuinely rather have some of our pitchers hitting than Morrison. Dude has an OPS+ of 10. I'm pretty sure at least one of our pitchers could just square up to bunt for 60 at bats and be significantly more productive than Morrison.

Seriously though... I've been to Lockhart Texas for BBQ, I've been to Kansas City for BBQ... Memphis, Carolina, Alabama, Georgia. I found some real good BBQ in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

 

You'd figure with all those pig farms in Iowa... they'd find something decent to slather on it.

I don't know about you, but my WAR is slightly higher than Morrison's right now.

 

I have yet to strike out a single time in my life with the bases loaded in Yankee Stadium. I'm not planning on it anytime soon. I like to think it's because of my plus hit tool.
