Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 8th inning and Twins look like they're just going through the motions. Wow.That started in Puerto Rico, to be fair
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 fouled ball off his foot in game, per Provus Well, at least he didn't foul it off his migraine. Hosken Bombo Disco and USAFChief 2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Berrios needs to go 8+ tomorrow Hosken Bombo Disco and Danchat 2
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 (edited) That started in Puerto Rico, to be fair At least there they had the excuse of a heat index roughly the same as Hades with the windows closed. Now they look like they just don't like baseball very much. Edited April 24, 2018 by LaBombo
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Well, at least he didn't foul it off his migraine. let's hope it doesn't lead to an ingrown. LaBombo 1
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Should I feel bad for wanting Kinley to give up a whole bunch of runs here? LaBombo and KirbyDome89 2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 At least there they had the excuse of a heat index roughly the same as Hades with the windows closed Studies have shown we only do well below 30 degrees. Doesn’t bode well for july LaBombo 1
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 The front office should be under serious heat everyday that Kinley stays on the roster Hosken Bombo Disco, Mike Sixel, wsnydes and 2 others 5
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Right now I hate the Twins just for being a party to enabling the weeping sore that is this ESPN booth crew. ashbury 1
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 At least Morrison has a batting average that doesn't start with "0", Danchat and LaBombo 2
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 The last time a Twins rule 5 rookie reliever had the bases loaded against the Yankees it didn't end well...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 They’re going to have to resod the path from our dugout to the mound after this series is over.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Whew, back from class-- 8-1 now. So, a typical Yanks/Twins game. Nothing new for the past few decades or so. An earlier poster noted that Odor-Easy can pee down his leg just like a long-time Twin. Yup, that's about right. We get to the Bronx, and look like an over-awed high school team. Ah, well... Blake 1
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Should I feel bad for wanting Kinley to give up a whole bunch of runs here? Probably, but nobody on the Twins is doing what they're supposed to tonight, so I wouldn't feel too bad about it.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 HELL YES!!! I have Didi on my fantasy team, and we may finally get rid of this wasted roster spot. Danchat 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Anyone who thinks we can compete with the Yankees is outside of their mind, wsnydes and LaBombo 2
Huddy Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Ross being on the broadcast has made me look into the 2013 Red Sox..... what an odd team to win the world series... but I'll tell you what.. they didn't strike out a ton and put the ball in play.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 (edited) The last time a Twins rule 5 rookie reliever had the bases loaded against the Yankees it didn't end well...Holy crap, are you kidding me?! I called it!!! It ended in the exact same way, a grand slam!!!! BTW JR Graham gave a grand slam to A-Rod a few years back. The EXACT same situation, except the Twins were up by 3 runs in the past situation. Edited April 24, 2018 by Danchat Blake and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 In other news, how is it possible for the T-Wolves to give up 50 points in a single quarter? Yikes!!!
David HK Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Come to think of it, maybe what this team needs is a good, old-fashioned bench-clearer... wsnydes and LaBombo 2
howeda7 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 We need to cling to Kinley like grim death. A play-off spot is a small price to pay for such talent. Mike Sixel, KirbyDome89, drock2190 and 2 others 5
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Come to think of it, maybe what this team needs is a good, old-fashioned bench-clearer... Yeah, with themselves. David HK, Hosken Bombo Disco and wsnydes 3
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 I bet even Morrison rakes off Kinley in scrimmages David HK, KirbyDome89 and Danchat 3
