wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 For the guys unable to see the visuals, how bad was the Rosario play?
Doubles Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Was that Ellsbury ball catchable? I'm listening to Gladden right now, so I have no earthly idea what really happened. He doesn't seem to care much for Rosario's outfielding.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Senor Positivity to you...So the rest of us can call you what we're all thinking then?
gocgo Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 For the guys unable to see the visuals, how bad was the Rosario play?should have been caught. had to run a long way but hit him on the heel of the glove.

Smarterthanyou Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Oh good, Duffy might come in
Smarterthanyou Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Barf on my playoff hopes
Darius Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 For the guys unable to see the visuals, how bad was the Rosario play?He went a fairly long way for it. No dive or anything like that. Hit him rightness in the palm of the glove and popped out because, IMO, he was a little nonchalant. Not great, should've been ruled an error, IMO. At least one run, probably more, as a result.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 People still want to re-sign colon? I never did understand that.....
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 should have been caught. had to run a long way but hit him on the heel of the glove. and people think errors are a real stat somehow!
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 Barf on my playoff hopesDid you really think you were making the playoffs?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 and people think errors are a real stat somehow!FAKE STATS!!!
Smarterthanyou Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 How do you just put that pitch down where Bird can drive it into right field. It was like batting practice
Smarterthanyou Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Did you really think you were making the playoffs?I can dream
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Hard to overstate how bad Bird has been all year, but he's having himself a series
Smarterthanyou Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I think you gotta walk him and pitch to Judge for double play
Darius Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 People still want to re-sign colon? I never did understand that.....I said after his last start: He had a good run here. Gave us some valuable innings. But, he's just hurting the team now. The smoke and mirrors have faded, and he just physically can't go multiple times through the order. Resign him next year? I'd be in favor of giving his remaining starts to Gee, Slegers....anybody really.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 The talent disparity between the twins and the first wild card time is unsettling. Makes me think we're not a "year away"
Smarterthanyou Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I think we put Walcott out there now that he is off the caffeine
gocgo Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Well, I've said for weeks that this road trip would be make or break for the Twins and right now it is looking like the latter. If we somehow make it to post season, it would sure be sweet to knock these guys out.

wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 This game turned in a hurry.
