Darius Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 They had Berrios at 98 last night, has to be off.Yep, there was just talk about Berrios' velocity dropping a little recently, all of the sudden he's hitting 98. Right. If he is hitting 98, his arm is about to explode. I've heard many times that a guys velocity goes up a couple of ticks right before the ligament(s) pop.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 The Yankees need to start using signs for their pitches, as opposed to walking out to the mound between EVERY ****ING PITCH!!!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Best line of the year by Bert - "Sanchez going out there again...maybe all the way to second base this time" The Yankees broadcast says that when MLB limits/bans trips to the mound, it will be called the Sanchez Rule.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Twins look good so far, but the Minnesota sports fan in me knows that of course this will be the game they get all their hits against severino and make him look beatable, before he kills us in the wild card game.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Aaron Judge is the worst.
gocgo Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Why? 2 strikes. why throw him anything hittable?
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Aaron Judge is the worst. I think Bartolo Colon is a lot worse, actually.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 280-foot home run?

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 That little league fence comes in handy a lot.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 That's the Twins' pitching staff I know and love! sigh....
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 280-foot home run?Yankee Stadium...
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 Okay, that home run wasn't a cheapie.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 That little league fence comes in handy a lot. and yet the Twins have how many home runs in 2+ games?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 And yes, giving him something to hit like that was the worst.
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Mystery solved - well the joy of that 3-run lead did not last very long.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Can't succeed in Yankee stadium without strikeout or ground ball pitchers...
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I just threw my shoe at the TV. Radar had me at 102 mph.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I would say that's disheartening
