wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 That's the Twins' pitching staff I know and love! sigh....Yeah, the tendency to score runs and immediately give them back drives me nuts.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 and yet the Twins have how many home runs in 2+ games?Oddly enough the Yankees only had 1 up until today, but playing there all season certainly makes a difference.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Whew, thought that one was headed out as well.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I just threw my shoe at the TV. Radar had me at 102 mph.
Darius Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Giving them 3 right back is so demoralizing.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Wow. Wonder if Severino is hurt.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 With their bullpen, I'm not sure if Severino exiting is even a positive.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Shreve had an arm extension? You'd think that would be against the rules.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 Wonder if his name was Lou Sever, before he arrived in New York.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I wouldn't exactly call the Twins play in September meaningful anymore. It's starting to resemble the end of your dog's life when you have to put him down. You look in your hound's eyes, give him one last pet, and say goodbye. Had ownership done something to help the bullpen, get another veteran SP during the season, it might be different. Turn out the lights, the party's over. I'll got to say to this is. Boo Hiss
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 That in the 2nd deck to right.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 f***ing Gardner!
Darius Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 and yet the Twins have how many home runs in 2+ games? That's an indictment of the Twins hitters. Wouldn't say it's evidence that the place isn't the equivalent of a slow pitch softball diamond. Judge alone has hit two in this series that aren't HRs anywhere outside of maybe Camden and Coors Field (or whatever they may be called these days).
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I never understood that phrase. How can money be defined as good or bad? It can't do or be anything other than money. Bad money is money you have already wasted. Good money is money you will eventually waste.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Now the big man needs a reward

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 do the twins employ a sports psychologist of any sort?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 do the twins employ a sports psychologist of any sort? For the team or the fans?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 If money can't be good or bad, why am I worrying about throwing bad money after good? That type of worrying... Helps in the development of that ulcer you've always wanted.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 do the twins employ a sports psychologist of any sort?I could do that job!!
