Yeah, the tendency to score runs and immediately give them back drives me nuts.

Oddly enough the Yankees only had 1 up until today, but playing there all season certainly makes a difference.

I wouldn't exactly call the Twins play in September meaningful anymore.  It's starting to resemble the end of your dog's life when you have to put him down.  You look in your hound's eyes, give him one last pet, and say goodbye. Had ownership done something to help the bullpen, get another veteran SP during the season, it might be different.  Turn out the lights, the party's over.

That's an indictment of the Twins hitters. Wouldn't say it's evidence that the place isn't the equivalent of a slow pitch softball diamond.

 

Judge alone has hit two in this series that aren't HRs anywhere outside of maybe Camden and Coors Field (or whatever they may be called these days).

I never understood that phrase.  How can money be defined as good or bad?  It can't do or be anything other than money.

 

Bad money is money you have already wasted. Good money is money you will eventually waste.
