I'll keep that in mind tomorrow nite when I'm in the first row of the RF bleachers at the Trop.

Make sure and dump your beer on Souza Jr.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Zero runs so far. Not very positive yet...

[USAFChief]

Why would Buxton not be running somewhere in there?

[USAFChief]

Nice pick Mauer.  Tough in between hop.

[mickeymental]

hullo? this thing on?

[Dantes929]

And the TF fans stop Mauer from making an out

Steve Bartman was the first thing that came to mind.   Would have been a really nice catch by Joe but I think he would have had it.   Cool that he gave the ball to the guy that interfered.

[USAFChief]

If I'm at a game, and a ball comes into the stands, I'm going for it.

[USAFChief]

I loath "double play depth."  If Dozier is playing in the hole, like he should against a LH hitter, that's a 4-6-3 DP.

[USAFChief]

Nice damage control.

in play, run(s) please.

[USAFChief]

Bremergasm dos.

[Aggies7]

another bremergasm and some poor baserunning by joe

he gave it to the man with the baby. That wasnt the main guy who interfered

[Craig Arko]

Buck-a-roo!

[Aggies7]

how does that not get through?

[jimmer]

There we go Escobar!

[USAFChief]

that'll work

[TwinsCD]

ESCOBOMB!!

[Ultima Ratio]

The Bear Attacks!!!!

[Aggies7]

I was going to suggest bunting. That's why im behind a computer.

Also, great to see some emotion

[Danchat]

Escobar must have heard that chatter from that thread saying he was a poor batter. Give some respect to this guy who's got more than a little pop in that bat!

And feel it, too!

BOLD prediction: Byron Buxton establishes a new AL single season record for triples during his career. The current record is 26, set by Sam Crawford in 1914.

and that guy probably played at a park with a 500' center field

[Circus Boy]

When Esco-bear hit his homer, did Bremer gasm?

EDIT ADD: I'm envious of his staying power.

Looks like 440'. Navin Field, later to become Tiger Stadium.

It was at 420 when they closed it 15 years or so ago. It was probably at least 450 once upon a time.

[USAFChief]

nice catch

[yarnivek1972]

Joe Mauer, up close and personal.

[yarnivek1972]

wtf do you mean "we'll see if it's a hit or an error", Dick?

[Aggies7]

it's just expected now with buxton
