Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 I've been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. I was quite surprised and so were a lot of people. Mainly because most people assumed I didn't even have a heart... I have been diagnosed as just plain irregular. Dozier's Glorious Hair, 70charger, glunn and 1 other 4
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 (edited) It's important 22 year olds from top conferences play against teenagers.... I would like to thank Cleveland for giving turley a free out.... Edited June 17, 2017 by Mike Sixel glunn 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I didn't envision this going much differently.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 (edited) There is a rule that a player is supposed to make reasonable effort to avoid HBP. If it were me potentially getting plunked by a 90+ mph pitch, my definition of "reasonable" effort to avoid being hit would be a bit outside the mainstream.... http://i.imgur.com/0hzesw4.gif Edited June 17, 2017 by LaBombo Blake, Riverbrian and glunn 3
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I think Turley wanted that pitch back as soon as he threw it. glunn and Dozier's Glorious Hair 2
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Can't wait to read how well he pitched again. Sigh. Dozier's Glorious Hair 1

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 How is Escobar not in the lineup tonight? His name didn't get put into one of those slots. Blake and glunn 2

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 Seriously, though, I have an irregular heartbeat and and will be seeing a cardiologist pretty soon. No big deal. coughcough, gaaaack, thud... Although, all kidding aside, it potentially could be something which is why it is probably wise Mr. Martinez is on the DL. Cough and Hack I can live with. No Thud Please... I like having you around. Blake 1

Darius Verified Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 This pitching staff somehow keeps getting worse. That 680 ft homerun from Encarnacion was pretty impressive, though... Blake and LaBombo 2

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 This is the first game I have seen Turley pitch live. I didn't see the game last week. I think Turley's repertoire might play better as a reliever. He would probably be at 95-96. The curve is okay, but a little more break would be nice. glunn 1
jimmer Verified Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 In their defense, what choice do they have with Santiago and Hughes outCounting on Hughes (health-wise) or Santiago (skill-wise) to begin with...not a good idea.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 In their defense, what choice do they have with Santiago and Hughes out It's pretty sad that they have no choice, but not surprising. I've been watching this team for some years now...
