I didn't dispute Mauer's prowess this year. I think he should win the GG.

 

Him playing that well just adds to my expectation that he should make that play.

 

The guys been "dogged out" by everyone and their mother over the years, while ice been an ardent supporter. Put your pitchfork away.

While it might be a cliche, the "hitters responding to the opposing team's scoring" narrative by Dick and Bert has actually numerous times this season. This lineup has been far better than I suspected it would be this year.

Any former Rubechat members should know that rubechat has been resurrected here.  Over 100 have already joined, seems pretty much the exact same.

 

Another good option to duplicate the Rubechat experience is paintball without eye protection.

So bummed today.  Typhoon warning 8 all night--  which means the same as a Snow  Day back home- no schools open, most office-type businesses closed, street markets closed, stay home and type my year end reports, and watch the ballgame.  

 

But NO!  5:40 AM they decide I must come to work, and lower the Typhoon to level 3.  Still p*ssing sideways rain, lots of dead-soldier umbrellas on the sidewalks.   Boooooooooo....!

and their record of not being able to develop quality pitchers :-)
