Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Five shutout innings for the big show (KG)
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Dang, this is the best I've seen Gibson pitch in... ever? Great mix of pitches, excellent command, moving them off the plate with inside stuff, and a little good fielding, too.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 I hit the rear end of a very pretty Cadillac, while I was trying a California thing called "lane splitting." I didn't do it very well, should have allowed more room between me and the car in front before I ducked between lanes. I saw another biker doing it, then said, "heck, I can do that." Then I glanced back to see if there was another bike following the first guy. That's when the Cadillac hit his brakes. Whoops. Interestingly, the bike didn't go down. Somehow I hopped off the bike and held it up. I don't remember how. Sucks man, sorry to hear it. I used to lane split all the time in my L.A. days. I never had a serious motorcycle crash until I brought the bike to Minnesota when I started law school at the U. I had it in Minnesota for, no joke, 2 or 3 months before I smacked a deer with it, broadside, at about 75 MPH. Just be glad you walked away. Sometimes these things don't make sense, but I walked away too. My helmet didn't even hit the ground. Be careful. It's a jungle out there.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 I swear, the 2017 Twins are the anti-1987 Twins. They keep it up, they're going to have to beat Houston at home to get into the Series. I was just able to look at the game and the Twins are up 7-0? Gibson is pitching? What's going on and who are these people?
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 I am Psycho! No you are not. You are a cuddly bunny.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Let's get 10 more insurance runs so one of the new guys can get a turn pitching, assuming that Gibby does not go 9.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Some profound baseball analysis here - but can you imagine how it would help the team if alight bulb went off in Gibson's head and he started consistently playing to his potential? (I am sure no one has ever thought of that)
Blake Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 No you are not. You are a cuddly bunny.Actually, this movie is a biographical sketch of my early years:

LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Jim Pohlad has long admired Cash Money. And also his brother Mo'. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-s2TJWkQMLI8/VUfisEo355I/AAAAAAAAk4E/_ReptYdtX6s/s640/Moe-Howard+(6).jpg
70charger Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Look at this. We have a lawyer in our midst I call myself an "erstwhile lawyer." I don't practice anymore and haven't for some years. You want a real lawyer, go find Mike Frasier. He probably even knows what he's doing.
snepp Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 No you are not. You are a cuddly bunny. Yes, cuddly....

I'm going to get the plastic replaced, a few things bent back into shape, then be on the bike again getting ready for some motorcycle camping trips. I'll be putting many thousands of miles on my little Tiger 800. This is just a blip.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Someone needs to remind Eddie that he's not nearly been good enough long enough to dog it down the line
Blake Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Okay, who's the funny guy? The box score shows Mauer hit a home run. Someone hack mlb.com?

LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Gibby on a mission tonight. And the Homeland is all the more secure for his bravery. http://www.movieactors.com/images-3/john-belushi/john-belushi-1941-pic1.jpg

If you ever make it the couple hours up toward Long Beach, I always though going over the Vincent Thomas Bridge on a motorcycle was a trip. It's definitely worth doing, and as an added bonus there are no deer.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Dang, I could see Buxton lined up to miss that outside pitch. Needs to square off his stance. He still tends to bail with his front hip, leaving him meat for outside stuff. Bring back the kick, Buxton!
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Actually, this movie is a biographical sketch of my early years: That's just Blake the Actor. You are still a cuddly bunny.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Okay who's for Pujols driving 1 to the warning track in the Ninth inning and being robbed of 600?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Every inning or so, I'm putting up a reminder. Please check available dates and sign up to start a game thread. http://twinsdaily.com/topic/25228-2017-game-thread-volunteers-needed1/?p=591349 Send a PM to me and Chief and we'll put you in!Bump

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Up and in to Simmons. Keep doing that, Gibby!
