Hindsight is 20/20 but would it have made more sense for the Twins put Grossman in the field and just have the pitcher hit?

How much confidence do you need with a 6 run lead?

 

Yeah, Pressly was the right decision alright. He's been terrible most of the year. This was entirely predictable and likely preventable.

 

I'm not even sure who was called up, but I think I would have had more confidence in them than Pressly this year.

A catch like that on the run at the wall is never a sure thing. Unless Adrianza took a bad route, Rosario would have faced the same challenge with a tough angle.

Nice play by Polanco but it really didn't look like he needed to dive. 

 

I think he could have ranged over and picked up the ball cleanly and completed an easy double play. 

 

His dive was kind of in the fetal position.
