I like Eduardo. He has underrated pop in his bat, and now and then decides to try and see if the opponent is taking him lightly, and unleashes a full swing. Good situation, bad pitch selection.

Dozier offered a professional^* courtesy tag to the runner, i.e. minimizing risk of injury to both players, and it almost cost him the out.

Buxton has been much better than Grossman at the plate over the past few weeks. He's got more power, and is much more likely to extend the inning by beating something out. Is Molitor just bored?

This time around. I really hated pinch hitting Grossman for Buxton. Let him sink or swim sometimes. It handicaps our defense in the top of the ninth. Especially with the top of the order coming up in the bottom.

All of his decisions were perfect yesterday. Avoided traffic by taking the perfect route back to St. Paul after the game was postponed.

 

I'm saying Paul should be fired, like almost everyone else did around here last year. Just saying, I don't like leaving Wilk out for the 8th, or Grossman hitting for Buxton (Grossman, really?)

 

I don't like the decision to start Hughes ever, either. But, I don't think Paul has anything to do with that.

 

This is one that easily could've been a W instead of an L. Shouldve been, arguably.
