Game Thread: Twins @ Cleveland 5-13 @ 3:10 PM CT

But Santana and Berrios's ERAs are in the ones. So...

just making a point

[BoofBonser]

And going into this game both had higher OBPs than Joe Mauer.

[USAFChief]

send him out.  He's not even at 100 pitches yet.

[spinowner]

I'd pull the plug. Let the kid go out on a high note. It's a long season.

Looks like Molly agrees with you.

[BoofBonser]

So? They are framing well and Twins r winning...... so?????

just making a point

[70charger]

Brief smile spotted from Berrios. His night MUST be done.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Couldn't have faulted Molitor for pulling Berrios after five, but he got seven out of him instead.

Bravo, Paulie

Not so fast. Two outs in the top, and no one in the pen.

[spinowner]

I know it's not a big deal but I wish more managers wore regular uniforms.

[jimbo92107]

My god, those chartreuse and gray ball caps are ugly. Great cause, ugly caps.

Yep. I don't know if I agree but I hope it goes well.

Concur.

[Brock Beauchamp]

Concur.

Double concur.

[jimbo92107]

Was that Berrios getting ready to pitch another inning? Commercial break! Ghaaa!

Assumptions make an A$$ out of U and ME

[ashbury]

I have an uncle with a hook hand who lives in Nantucket...but you're probably not talking about him.

Oy.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Ok hitting guys on 1-2 is enough

[Pardon My Dinger]

Oy.

No good?

[BoofBonser]

4 seam looks like the only pitch he's had a little trouble controlling
Otherwise everything else is good... hasn't thrown many slurves but that's probably due to lack of facing righties

[ashbury]

With a normal bullpen, that's my instinct too, rather than let pitch count dictate. But with Kintzler likely not really available, I can't fault Molitor for sending him out.

[Pardon My Dinger]

JO needs major league confidence. This is a high risk high reward decision. And I like it. Let him mow down the AL champs for 8 innings.

Wow, nice slow curve. That's going to get some outrageous strike outs.

[Aggies7]

How you gonna take him out right now.

[BoofBonser]

Have a day Jose

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Nice, nice pitch there. Up in the zone for swinging strike three.

Yeah, it's a risk either way but I think I'd prefer to see the bullpen lose this game than Berrios.

And he gets the hook.

[single tear]

Great game Jose

[Pardon My Dinger]

He seems like such a sweet guy. I love Berrios. Hope it works out.

[akmanak]

Great performance by Berrios.

[jimbo92107]

What a fine job. Well done, young man, bravo. Jose Berrios dominated just like he did in AAA.
