Hughes getting hammered in the 1st with hard hit balls. Without a couple really good Buxton catches that would have been a really ugly inning. So far Hughes isn't inspiring confidence in his ability to be a major league starting pitcher.

Gameday shows one to Soto that was a foul. I think he needs to throw a ton of offspeed pitches the rest of this game because his fastball doesn't look good tonight.
