Guys this is my fault.

 

I bought into the Buxton hype and drafted him in Fantasy.

 

I'm really feeling the sting tonight, but thats another story...

 

Not just you.  I've got him on my fantasy team too.  We're a head-to-head league, so I've got to keep him on my roster all week long.  So disappointed in both real life and in fantasy right now.  Ugh.

I have seen all of buxton' abs this season, and they have been getting worse. Worst lineup move in recent history to put him in the three spot. He needs to be moved to nine immediately. He's not going to figure things out with the pressure of batting third. He might not even figure it out batting ninth. It's beyond me why molitor would sandbag him with the responsibility of batting third, especially with his history. Hopefully he can relax and recover in the nine spot. It's hard to imagine him having to go back to trip A given how important he is to the pitching staff. Right now, he looks like he did when he first came up.

I went back and forth between starting him and Manuel Margot tonight. Guess who hits 2 bombs....

Hughes is really pitching well tonight. Not overpowering stuff, but he is hitting spots and mixing it up! I like it! Doesn't hurt to have Buxton to bail you out on some long outs too - those were huge!

I like the intensity Giminez shows when he is giving his signs behind the plate. It's almost like he;s trying to fire Phil up.

Huge props to Hughes. I thought it would be a long asz game after the first, but he settled in and has pitched really well. I am impressed.

Also, I honestly believe that If JRM had won the backup job and was catching tonight, we'd be down by 3 or 4. I really like both our catchers.

That side by Hughes was amazing. The fastest pitch he threw was 87, in Cabrera's ab. I was really hoping he was going to k Frasier. That would have been incredible.

Pretty sure Hughes called him out there last inning to tell him to stop treating him like a rook. "I know breaking balls should be down, you don't have to drag the signs in the dirt."
