Did you observe anything about the relationship between Falvey, Lavine, Molitor?

Who are the Twins that are nicest to the ST fans?

How do you feel about DanSan being on this roster?

Everyone seemed to think Paul gets along very well w Falvey & Levine. But I also heard lord of tumors about different opinions on back of the bullpen between them. Looks like front office won all the battles.

Santana, for all his flaws, isn't a terrible super utility player. I heard scouts from other teams talking about the Twins roster say they liked the Twins roster situation because Santana gives them flexibility. It was because of Santana that I thought Twins might carry 13 pitchers if Grossman was dinged up.

In all seriousness, what would your definition of a terrible super utility player be then? Because we KNOW he can't hit, and is a below avg defender at nearly every position he plays

Best beer you drank in Fort Myers?

Best food item you consumed?

I only drank beer twice down there. I liked Fort Myers Brewing's Kolsch but nothing really knocked my socks off.

Also tried Seths place, Moe's Chicken. Liked it very much but I'm a sucker for a salsa bar.

A super utility player is a player who isn't obviously overmatched defensively as either an outfielder or infielder, but who can't hit enough to be a regular. Santana guys that description.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

Sure. But I'm not a sandwich purist. Anything you eat smushed between bread so it doesn't get on your hands is a sandwich. I've certainly eaten a lot crazier sandwiches than a hot dog.

I'm sorry but someone who the best thing you can say about them is they are not totally overmatched as a defender and can't hit doesn't sound like a Major League Baseball player to me.

It was very strange in the locker room when the news was being digested. At least one media member described team as angry, though I would say surprised is better. One theory is they don't like seeing a guy get screwed. Another was that they wonder about the decision makers and leadership.

That's pretty ominous considering it's not even opening day. Animosity and distrust can't be good for team chemistry.

I can see how demoting the team's best hitter this spring has the other players pessimistic about how things will go the rest of the season.

I would add that when a player switches Nations, switches languages, go through a tough first year, gets run through wavers and dropped from the 40 man, and then works his tail off to correct his flaws and comes in to show the team he is ready it had to be apparent to the team, but obviously not the bosses.  This is deflating and bad for morale.

Ominous is right.  I literally just posted that on the roster thread before seeing John's post on this thread.  He confirmed what I was already thinking.

That's going to take wayyy longer than 45 minutes to answer!

According to this place, a hot dog is a sandwich...and a chili dog is a side order. Duh.

Yup. It pretty much stinks. Even though the crowd was small at yesterday's game, Park got the loudest response both when the lineups were announced and when he came to his first at bat (and then after he got the single).

My buddy who I was at the game with got on the elevator after to take it down and Falvey was on it. He just couldn't help himself and turned to someone else on it and said, something to the effect "these idiots send Park down, what a bunch of bs."  Favley's face got a little red.
