twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Too far?I think we're done here.
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 What were the first 6? Chernobyl? The Hindenburg? Enron? Reminds me of a great scene in the Naked Gun movies, a scene in the cop shop.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Centeno called out on strikes... And so my hopes for that inning are dashed.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Those were 8, 11, and 15.I actually googled TSF and it's hilarious how much twins stuff there is. I even saw ol Byung ho on there. Remember that disaster? Seems like years ago
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Oh, it is the end of another month. Did i miss any cleared waiver deals? PTBNLs are so tantalizing.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Dick again with some random Naquin bashing. "If I had a vote I would have a hard time voting for Naquin because he's just a platoon player." Get over it, Dick, Cleveland does not wish they had kept Grossman over this slug with the .930 OPS.
jimmer Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Google: 'answer to life, the universe and everything' Cracks me up.
Guest Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Nolasco: CG 4-hit, no walk shut out. With a AAA outfield and Trout on the bench. While Twins got bad thumb Santiago.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Dozier-zee! I guess.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Dozier-zee! I guess.Hard to muster some gusto at this stage, I agree.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I just dropped in...and wanna say...really nice work on the game threads, sport! Although...you listed like 33 posters with a "great sense of humor." And for me...nothing. zilch. zip. nada. ix-nay on the umor-hay. BANNED! BANNED I say! If it's any consolation, your humor is right up my alley. And I offer a preemptive nix on any attempts at witty retort, from anyone, stating in any way, shape, or form that's a bad thing.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Hey...didn't you used to be Miguel Sano?
snepp Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Snepp "cooking." Quoted for fantasticness.
big dog Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Nolasco: CG 4-hit, no walk shut out. With a AAA outfield and Trout on the bench. While Twins got bad thumb Santiago. To be fair, before tonight he was 0-4 with an ERA+ of 71. Alex Meyer dominated in 3 short stints with the Angels' rookie league team, then moved up to A+ and got shelled. So far I rate this trade a shrug.
CampQ Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 FTFYBut do you use the Oxford Comma in Canada?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Hard to muster some gusto at this stage, I agree.Just need two more of those...

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Ok, think I'm following you on this one.So there aren't? At least with the Twins? No TTBNL?
snepp Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Dozier-zee! I guess. One more than Ortiz.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Author Posted September 1, 2016 I wonder if mike zimmer could manage the twins. Not a good idea. People would be falling over with torn ACL's.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 So far I rate this trade a shrug. More effort than I can muster.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 More effort than I can muster. Now THERE'S the Snepp we all missed. Effortless, spot on, and dry as the Sahara
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Anyone see a 5 run inning recently?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Anyone see a 5 run inning recently? If 8 or 9 times this past weekend in Toronto counts as "recently," then yes.
Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 We finally got someone who can throw long relief. The guy who has pitched in 152 games the last four years and tolled 143 innings! Go figure!
