Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I know its a dead horse, but paul molitor cannot possible survive this year with his job. even in bizarre twins worldPitching gives up 31 runs this series and it's the managers fault?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I sported an ERA of over 11 and an opponent BA well over .400 my freshman year of college and I think I would be a good stopper in the twins pen. I did get the ERA down in the 3's by my final two years. So theres hope!

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Giving up the lead in the 7th means one less inning to pitch. Saves wear and tear on the bullpen. Not to mention 45 minutes of average game time.

glunn Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 In recent seasons I consoled myself with hopes for a top draft pick. After Buxton's performance this year even that consolation has been taken away. My sense is that the Twins are doing a poor job developing talented players.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Pitching gives up 31 runs this series and it's the managers fault? What have you seen this year that indicates the team is well coached, whether it be fundamentals, defensive skills, or just overall preparedness to play the game of baseball? but I know this isn't what the GDTs are for so I will leave it at that
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 This Donaldson fellow, someone should alert the Twins he's pretty good.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Clown college?Looking back, close enough
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 Fun with numbers: If Donaldson just played against the Twins over a 162 game season, he'd have 188 HRs.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Well, there's some icing on the ol' cake....

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Hector Santiago, Andrew Albers, and Pat Dean lined up for Cleveland. At least we're spending these last few weeks of a lost season preparing for the future.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 The rest of us are upset with Paul Molitor for still being manager of this team. Just when you think you have saw a level of suck that cannot be lower the Twins lower the bar on suck and stoop lower. The players may be bad on this team but that doesn't exonerate the manager or the coaches responsibility of trying to maintain some level of professionalism. 10 game losing streaks in baseball should not happen unless your team has flat out quit on the coaching staff. And we've had (almost) two of those...
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 This Donaldson fellow, someone should alert the Twins he's pretty good.Didn't seem fair to Wimmers for Suzuki to just call fastball after fastball

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I hear the little league club from NY state has got some talented arms. I'll be keeping my eye on them and letting Mr Antony know if there's any potential for the final month of the season
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 21 runs in 3 games should be worth something. eh? huh? huh?
